It seems like everyday we are bombarded with bullshit from all over the country... and the more I think about it, the more it reminds me of high school... sad to think that our society has failed in the menial task of growing up...

The nerds, geeks and kids who generally did well in school are doing well now...

The slackers, sluts, and burnouts are still slackers, sluts and burnouts.. some of them are actually doing well... hey, the graduated right? ...So even the worst of the worst has a chance...

The jocks and athletes that stayed active are now doing that or coaching that.. still popular with most people and now making millions of dollar because they play a fucking game well...

The popular, beautiful, and rich people are still revered simply for their popularity, beauty, and money and still get all the breaks, just like they did in high school...

The actors/actresses and theater folk are still entertaining us on tv and movies and we still love them for it because they can memorize a scene and act like human beings...

And while the geeks and the nerds toil to discover cures for diseases and provide the world with technological advances that make life better, and while the hard working blue collar professionals make the world work and economy run, all we really care about is the score of last nights game... which hollywood actor is fucking random hollywood actress... who has the most money to buy the best toys and how to beat the system without working or breaking a sweat...

You know what? Fuck all that shit...

Why do we pay pro-sports players multi-million dollar contracts for playing a game that kids play?

Why do we pay actors and actresses 20 Million dollars for 3-4 months of work? And why do we care if they are having a good or bad day?

Why do we give a flying fuck about Angelina Jolie and what she does in another country... adopting kids from all over the world, but wont adopt the poor inner-city youth that lives in the next county...

And how fair is it that these starlet slut bitches like Lindsy Lohen, Nicole Ritchie, and Paris Hilton can go out, drink underage (at one point), do drugs in public, drive drunk and endanger the public and only get a slap on the wrist... Fucking Paris Hilton drives drunk, serves 3 DAYS of a 23 DAY sentence and then gets put on house-arrest for 40 days... where as any one of use would be thrown in jail for 2-6 YEARS... Nicole Ritchie drives one the WRONG SIDE of the highway, ADMITS to being fucked up on Vicodin and Pot... spends 2 HOURS in jail (in Dec. 06) and shows up on the Tonight Show with David Letterman last night talking about the new season of The Simple Life... I wont even talk about the other one...

HOW INSANE ARE WE AS A COUNTRY, AS A PEOPLE?!

WHY DO WE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN?!

WHY DO WE LET OUR KIDS IDOLIZE THESE FUCK-UPS?!

How is this country fair in anyway where all these fuck-ups get the breaks and the money and the people who teach the youth and guide our children into the future get shit on and have to struggle to make ends meet... How is it that the doctors that save lives everyday, though paid well, cant hold a candle to what George Clooney got paid PER EPISODE of ER...
