Experience

2000-2001: Been bouncing for the “Rufus Firefly” pub in downtown Glasgow, Scotland. My job is to persuade the always drunken Scottish patrons to leave the premises when closing time comes. I also have to kick out teenagers that are too drunk and too horny to know what’s best for them.

1995-1996: I bounced for 1 year for MEGA Channel, one of the 2 largest private TV stations in Greece. I had to deal with all kinds of delusional nut-cases that would visit the station in hopes of making it to one of its many reality-shows. I learned to do that efficiently and by using force only when absolutely necessary. I had close cooperation with the anti-terrorist Special Forces of the Greek Police that would also guard the station as it was attacked less than a year before by the infamous terrorist organization “17 November”. The station was attacked with 2 remotely controlled rockets. There was major structural damage but miraculously no victims. I was also the bouncer for various hi-society parties that the station would throw. I learned how to deal with demanding rich people at the door.

1992: I bounced for 6 months for “Max Fish”, an underground bar in lower east side NYC. I worked alone. I learned how to deal with customers that were packing both ways and were highly intoxicated with various substances. I had to “kick out” customers on a daily basis. I was involved in one major brawl, which I managed to resolve by force while against more than one opponents.

1991: I bounced for 6 months for the “Babel” topless bar in central Manhattan, NYC. I was part of a bouncer crew of three. These guys basically showed me the ropes of this unique and very honest profession. We were involved in 3 major brawls that we managed to resolve without anything serious happening. I would throw drunken (and not so drunken) customers off-stage on an almost daily basis.
